The East Coast Swamp Flyers field is located at the end of Fire Lite Place in North Branford, CT. The field measures approximately 600 x 200 ft, running north/south, and has a grass surface which is kept mowed during the spring, summer and fall months. At the beginning of each flying season the field is rolled to make the surface as smooth as possible.
Access to the field is via a narrow gravel road which passes over a small bridge and through a gate which is locked when one or more of our members is not there (Members have the gate combination). The field is surrounded by trees on three sides and a corn field at the north end.
Directions to the Flying Field are as follows:
From 91S:
Take exit 12 (North Haven). At the end of the exit, take a left onto Rt. 5 (Washington Avenue). Follow Rt. 5 for approximately ¾ of a mile. Take a left onto Rt. 22 (Clintonville Rd.). Follow Clintonville Road for approximately 2 miles until you see the Fire-Lite Honeywell factory on the left. Take a left onto Fire Lite Place, and follow the maps below.
From 91N:
Take exit 11 (North Haven). At the end of the exit, take a right onto Rt. 22 (Clintonville Rd.). Follow Rt. 22 for approximately 2 miles until you see the Fire-Lite Honeywell factory on the left. Take a left onto Fire Lite Place, and follow the maps below.
From 15S:
Take exit 63 (North Haven). At the end of the exit, take a left onto Hartford Turnpike. At the next light, take a left onto Rt. 22 (Bishop St.). Follow Rt. 22 for approximately 3 miles until you see the Fire-Lite Honeywell factory on the left. Take a left onto Fire Lite Place, and follow the maps below.
From 15N:
Take exit 63 (North Haven). At the end of the exit, take a right onto Rt. 22 (Bishop St.). Follow Rt. 22 for approximately 2.8 miles until you see the Fire-Lite Honeywell factory on the left. Take a left onto Fire Lite Place, and follow the maps below.
Directions to the Foxon Recreational Community Center:

The Foxon Recreational Community Center is located on Rt. 80 in North Branford, CT. This is where the club meetings are held during the winter months.
From 91S:
Take Exit 8. At the end of the exit, turn left onto Rt. 80. Follow Rt. 80 (Foxon Blvd/Rd) for approximately approximately 2 miles until you reach North High Street on the right. Turn onto North High Street (Rt. 100). The Community Center is on the right just past the fire station.
From 91N:
Take Exit 8. At the end of the exit, turn right onto Rt. 80. Follow Rt. 80 (Foxon Blvd/Rd) for approximately approximately 2 miles until you reach North High Street on the right. Turn onto North High Street (Rt. 100). The Community Center is on the right just past the fire station.
